The Solana community for RINA— memecoin meets mission. Roughly 600 Sumatran tigers are left in the wild; we are here to help fund the fight through the Dallas Zoo, long after the last vote is counted.
$900
Conservation doesn't stop at the goal line
Every dollar from $RINA is treated as a donation to real-world tiger work — including after the fundraiser meter hits 100%.
Dallas Zoo naming fundraiser
The contest period has ended. The community showed up for Rina— we're now waiting for the zoo's official naming announcement.
Every dollar still matters for critically endangered Sumatran tigers. $RINA is built so community donations can keep supporting the zoo's work long after the contest.

Why RINA?
Coverage: CBS Texas
The Dallas Zoo invited supporters to help name a female Sumatran tiger cub. Donations count as votes — and one option is Rina, honoring ranger Rina PA and the Sumatran Ranger Project.
$RINA on Solana is not just about a cute name — it is a way to route real dollars toward accredited conservation. This community treats proceeds as donations that keep flowing even after the naming goal is met, with the Dallas Zoo at the center of that story.
Voting ran through Monday, April 20. The public giveaway page has since closed; follow @dallaszoo for the official naming announcement.
Sumatran tigers — act now
These cubs are Sumatran tigers (Panthera tigris sumatrae) — the smallest living tiger, and found only on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. They are critically endangered on the IUCN Red List: not extinct, but close enough that every birth and every dollar counts.
Fewer than about 600 are thought to remain in the wild — a figure the Dallas Zoo has cited when talking about why these births matter. Without habitat protection, anti-poaching work, and community support, we risk losing them on our watch.
We need to act now so we can preserve tigers for future generations. Accredited zoos help through breeding programs, science, and funding field partners; wild-ranger teams do the daily work in the forest. The naming contest was one door — holding $RINA and donating through official channels is another.
